Velvasoft

This poncho style Weighted Vest provides proprioceptive feedback, stability and skills. Therapists may adjust the dimensions of the vest as well as the weight to meet the needs of each client. The Vest comes in 6 sizes and is designed with side and shoulder openings, allowing flexibility in size adjustments. Weight Sets consist of 1/8 lb., ¼ lb. or ½ lb. packets allowing the weight to be evenly distributed within pockets located along the bottom of the Vest. Hook and loop closures help secure the weights. Additional Weight Packs are sold separately. A decrease in length may be obtained by folding the pocket section up, and securing it to a hidden section of hook material located half way up the inside of the vest. Velvasoft fabric also serves as a backdrop for communication symbols or devices, by attaching “hook” material to the symbol or objects.

Note: Shoulder weights come in BLACK only and attach directly to the outside of the vest running vertically from front to back, allowing the therapist to remove or adjust them during therapy without removing the vest. These weights also attach to each other allowing them to be stacked for a concentration of weight.
